Kickstands are the pennies bicycle business. Everyone wants to get rid of them because supposedly nobody wants to use them. It's surprising how something so functionally essential instantly becomes an endangered species when you walk through the doors of your local bike shop.
We definitely don't blame the shop, or the industry itself, as we sell quite a few of these products to be installed after you purchase an upscale bike. Wald offers two versions of this simple necessity, the standard kickstand we're all familiar with that mounts behind the bottom bracket and a rear axle mounting version.
